Brazilian Dinamarquesa Sessel von Jorge Zalszupin für L´Atelier, 1959,...

This pair of sculptural Dinamarquesa lounge chairs was designed by Brazil’s modernist master Jorge Zalszupin and produced in the 1960s. Inspired by the classic line of modern Danish furniture design, Jorge Zalszupin launched the Dinamarquesa armchair in 1959. Dinamarquesa means Danish in Portuguese. The Brazilian identity is kept in the clean lines and sculptural Caviona chair frames. They are upholstered in an off-white linen.
